Funding Criteria

Charity is no longer about us blindly giving you our money.

  • We have just changed the ground rules.
  • The rules of engagement are evolving.

The rules are now about Project Leaders interacting with Supporters. If your project has value and worth, then show us. Make an effort.

  • Show us what you are doing.
  • Show us how you are doing it.
  • Show us your achievements.
  • Show us how you would use our money.

We, the supporters, are your additional window on the world. We are the ones who can show others how they can help too; how they can be a part of something successful. Charity is now about working together for the greater good.

Qualification
To apply for The Emerald Heart Tithe, a project must meet the Application Criteri

Funding Criteria
Our work at The Emerald Heart is all about The Evolution of Human Consciousness. Therefore anything we support must be evolutionary in its nature.

  • We support the Evolution of all Life, featured through the Three Main Categories of Life on our planet.
    • The Earth and all that grows upon it. For She supports us all.
    • The Animal Kingdoms, for they were here first
    • Humanity, for humans need to evolve quickly.
  • We support Projects only of an Evolutionary Nature.

    This means the Project must push back the barriers of ignorance; change the way people think, work or act towards the benefit of the Earth and its dominions; and/or uplift the less fortunate through self empowerment.
  • A Project must be able to demonstrate an ‘almost’ instant result.
  • There must be direct clarity and accountability from the Project.
  • The Project must have a web presence which is updated regularly as to activities in the field. (At least once every three to six months).
  • We require ‘Ongoing  Feedback’ where ongoing funding is in place.

    The Feedback can be direct to ourselves via an emailed photo journal and news clip or via the Project’s own website.
  • We may require permission to publish small extracts from your web log or other information, (content by mutual agreement) such as news and photographs, to inform our readers of our work in supporting your project.
    • This is to enable a higher level of exposure for the projects we support, thereby inspiring others to follow our lead and help your project.
  • The Project must have no detrimental effect on any of the other two categories of life.
  • You must be able to demonstrate the evolutionary nature of your project in order to apply to our Tithing Fund.

Examples:
Aid to the Earth:  If we were to donate to a rainforest project, it would have to be a project which taught the value of the trees we already have. Forest management is fine on one level, but cutting down trees that are hundreds or thousands of years old reduces us to poverty. The trees have much to offer us which is yet undiscovered. The people involved in the project would have to change their thinking from destruction to protection, conservation and management with no opportunity of them slipping back. Evolutionary means changing old patterns and moving forward with a more spiritual, holistic, expansive and sustainable vision.

Aid to the Animals:  This could be saving animals from abuse by people or by teaching the people how to live without subjugating the animal kingdoms. This is about saving the animals through changing attitudes and evolving the thinking of the people to value and give gratitude for what we have.

Aid to Humans: This type of project would be one where people are uplifted through education or other means into a position of self-empowerment and given a higher vision of their potential as groups or individuals. Self-empowerment is the main criteria here, but not at the expense of other human beings or either of the other two categories of life on our planet.
